CSV format

Downloads use two columns: Channel Url and Channel Title. Older three-column Takeout files (with Channel Id) still import fine.

Tips

  • Always check which Google account is active on YouTube before Subscribe or Unsubscribe.
  • Large lists take time - the extension waits between channels on purpose.
  • If a channel fails, note it and retry later with a smaller selection.
  • Related tools: thumbnail downloader, HEIC converter, apps.

On-page CSV workspace (optional)

Prefer the extension wizard for most moves. This on-page tool can load a CSV, preview channels, and send Export / Subscribe / Unsubscribe commands when the extension is connected. Lists stay in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the YouTube Subscriptions Migrate extension do?

It opens a workspace tab where you scan subscriptions from one YouTube account, review and select channels, subscribe them on another account, and optionally unsubscribe on the old account. Channel lists stay in your browser.

How do I open the extension?

After installing, click the extension icon in your browser toolbar. A workspace tab opens with a step-by-step wizard.

Does this website subscribe to channels for me?

No. Subscribe and unsubscribe run on youtube.com inside your browser, on the account you are logged into there. This page can hold a CSV list and talk to the extension; the clicks happen on YouTube.

Why do I need a browser extension?

Websites cannot read or control your YouTube tabs for security reasons. The extension runs on YouTube so it can scan your subscriptions page and click Subscribe or Unsubscribe for you.

Is my subscription list uploaded to your servers?

No. Lists stay in extension storage and in your browser on this page. We do not receive your channel list.

Will Unsubscribe remove all my channels?

Only the channels you selected, and only on the YouTube account that is logged in when you run Unsubscribe. Always confirm the account first.

Can I use a Google Takeout CSV?

Yes. Import a Takeout or extension CSV in the Scan step, or upload it in the workspace on this page. You still use the extension to subscribe on the new account.

What notification options can I set when subscribing?

In the Subscribe step you can choose All, Personalized, or None. The extension applies that YouTube bell preference after each subscribe.
